I can read the leaks dripping on your tongue

It is a printed exhibition created in collaboration with friends and colleagues. The motivation was to gather the work of people I admire and whose artistic processes I have had the privilege of witnessing.

The editorial space is an exhibition space. Printed exhibitions offer a democratic platform for displaying artworks. Creativity thrives more from restrictions than from boundless imagination and possibilities.

The printed medium is both virtual and physical, timeless, delocalized yet site-specific, and inevitably performative.

Art is a matter of language, and this language is fluid. Art usually cannot be contained only in words. The form of language depends on the medium you pour it into. I’ve learned that text is not only words printed on paper, and I adhere to this idea to support my intuition that making art is a form of writing—the same operation but with expansive and mobile results. Making art is a way of writing attitudes, making them readable and sensible. Understanding attitudes as the way you think, feel, and consequently behave. Attitude as a tacit position assumed by the body, explicit in materiality, and in connection with an action, feeling, or mood.

Fortunately, when it comes to languages, there is always something impossible to translate, describe or explain in words. This inability is challenging and frustrating, but, on the other hand, it is exciting to experience that human languages are never enough. They need plasticity to dilate and allow the spread. That is why, even today, we can tell that not everything is written and that the last word has not been uttered.
